Two Creek is a primitive boat camp on the Smith River, situated roughly 17.8 miles downstream from the Camp Baker launch point. As one of the mid-canyon designated camps, overnight layovers are allowed here — though during the high-use season (May 15–July 15) only one layover night is permitted. The camp is set amid limestone canyon walls with open overhead views, typical of the Smith River Canyon. There are no developed facilities: campers must carry portable, hard-sided waste containers and bring their own water. Floating this section of the Smith River requires a lottery-issued permit from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks between April 1 and August 15 each year. Access is exclusively by non-motorized river float.
Layover nights (two or more nights at the same camp) are permitted at mid-canyon boat camps (Two Creek to Upper Parker), however, only one layover night is permitted during the high use season (May 15-July 15).
Two Creek located at 17.8 miles downstream from Camp Baker; lots of small and beautiful limestone cliffs with open 360-degree views.
