Indian Springs is a permit-only, boat-in camping area on Montana's Smith River, managed by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks as part of the Smith River State Park corridor. The site includes three designated campsites — Upper, Middle, and Lower — set in a limestone canyon with trees and boulders. A natural spring provides drinkable water, making it a useful resupply point for floaters. Access is exclusively by non-motorized watercraft as part of a permitted float trip through the 59-mile section between Camp Baker and Eden Bridge. Floaters must pack out all human waste using hard-sided portable toilet systems, and food storage requires bear-resistant containers. Permits are issued through an annual lottery administered by Montana FWP.
