Reynolds Creek is a primitive backcountry wilderness campsite within Glacier National Park, set in a forested area alongside its namesake creek. Accessible only by foot, this site is part of multi-night backcountry itineraries and requires a minimum three-night wilderness permit; it may not serve as the first night of any trip. The site accommodates up to four campers and is equipped with a vault toilet and a bear pole for food storage — no potable water is available on-site. A wilderness use permit is required for overnight stays from May 1 through October 31; permits are available free of charge during winter months. Reservations are made through Recreation.gov via advance lottery or standard reservation; a limited number of walk-up permits may be available the day before or day of your trip. Visitors should come fully self-sufficient and prepared for unpredictable mountain weather.
