Red Eagle Lake Foot is a backcountry wilderness campsite in Glacier National Park, located at the lower end of Red Eagle Lake and reached via an approximately 7.5-mile hike from the trailhead near St. Mary Lake. The site sits in a forested, mountainous setting and offers a vault toilet; no drinking water is provided on-site, so campers must treat water from natural sources. A National Park Service wilderness use permit is required for all overnight stays between May and October, with walk-up and advance-reservation options available. The maximum party size is 12 people, with individual campsites accommodating up to 4 people. No vehicle or motorized access is possible — this is a hike-in only site.
