Poia Lake is a remote backcountry wilderness campsite within Glacier National Park, situated at roughly 5,800 feet elevation in the Kennedy Creek drainage on the park's eastern side. The camp has four designated sites near the lakeshore, each accommodating up to four people with room for two tents — site 1 is slightly smaller than the others. A vault toilet and food preparation/storage area are provided; no potable water is available on site, so campers should filter water from the lake outlet before reaching the campground. Access is by trail only — no roads reach the campsite. A wilderness permit is required for all overnight stays from May through October, with a per-person nightly fee in addition to a non-refundable permit fee. Permits are free for off-season winter camping. The surrounding subalpine terrain transitions to alpine above the lake, with views of rugged peaks and opportunities to observe wildlife common to Glacier's backcountry.
