Upper Park Creek is a wilderness backcountry campsite in Glacier National Park, accessible via the Park Creek Trail from Essex, MT. The site sits within a deep glacially carved valley along the Park Creek drainage and offers access to day hike destinations including Isabel Lake. It accommodates up to 3 parties and allows stock (up to 10 animals). A nightly backcountry permit is required and must be obtained in advance through Recreation.gov or as a walk-up permit. No potable water is available on-site.
