Boulder Pass is a remote backcountry campsite in Glacier National Park near the park's northwestern corner, accessible via a long, strenuous trail from Kintla Lake. The three-site camp sits at high elevation close to the continental divide and offers vault toilet facilities. Water availability at the pass is unreliable, particularly in late summer, so hikers should plan to carry sufficient water or collect it from streams lower on the trail. A backcountry permit is required year-round, with fees applying from May 1 through October 31; permits must be obtained through Recreation.gov or at park wilderness permit offices. Advance reservations open on June 15 each year for the summer season.
