Adair is a backcountry wilderness campsite in the western reaches of Glacier National Park, accessible only by trail along the Logging Lake route — roughly 4.8 miles from the trailhead off the Inside North Fork Road. The site sits near Logging Lake and serves as an intermediate stop on the way to Grace Lake. Four campsites are available, three of which can be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov; one site is held for walk-up wilderness permits. Stock animals (horses and pack animals) are permitted, with up to 10 animals allowed overnight. A vault toilet is provided; no potable water is available, so campers must treat or filter water from natural sources. A wilderness use permit is required for all overnight stays. During peak season (July through September), a one-night-per-trip limit applies at this site. Expect heavy mosquito activity in early summer. The campsite opens mid-June and the advance reservation window runs through September 30.
