Sprague Creek sits on the northeast shore of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, just off Going-to-the-Sun Road. The campground's 21 sites are compact and heavily forested, with partial lake views from select locations. Flush toilets and potable water are available on-site, and bear-proof food storage lockers are provided near the restrooms — strict bear country food storage regulations are enforced. No generators or towed units are permitted; vehicle combinations over 21 feet in length or 8 feet in width are not allowed. All sites are reservation-only through Recreation.gov. The historic Lake McDonald Lodge, roughly a mile away, offers a camp store, restaurant, and boat tours. Maximum stay is 14 days.
