Snyder Lake is a remote backcountry wilderness campsite within Glacier National Park, accessible only by trail from the Sperry Trailhead near Lake McDonald Lodge. The site provides three tent-only sites beside a glacier-carved lake surrounded by old-growth cedar forest and rugged mountain terrain. No campfires are permitted, and no potable water is available on-site. A vault toilet is provided. A wilderness permit is required for all overnight stays between May 1 and October 31; permits may be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov or obtained on a first-come, first-served basis at the Apgar Backcountry Permit Center.
