Lower Quartz Lake is a primitive backcountry wilderness campground set along the lakeshore in Glacier National Park's remote North Fork area. Access is available via trails from Bowman Lake Campground or from Quartz Creek Campground on a longer route. The site offers three wilderness campsites near the water, with a vault toilet located uphill from the camping area. No potable water is provided. A wilderness permit is required for all overnight stays, available through Recreation.gov, with advance reservations open June 15 through September 30.
