Lincoln Lake is a remote backcountry wilderness campground deep in Glacier National Park's western backcountry. Reached by a strenuous 8+ mile hike along Lincoln Creek Trail from the Going-to-the-Sun Road, this three-site primitive camp sits near a stunning alpine lake ringed by dramatic peaks. The area offers views of Beaver Chief Falls, one of the park's most impressive waterfalls. A vault toilet is on-site; no potable water is provided. A wilderness permit is required for all overnight stays, available through Recreation.gov, with advance reservations open June 15 through September 30.
