Harrison Lake is a remote backcountry campsite within Glacier National Park, reached via the South Boundary Trail and Harrison Creek Trail — a rugged hike-in route of roughly 8 miles one way. Three designated campsites are situated along the north shore of the lake, approximately 2 miles from the lake's foot. The lake sits in a deep glacier-carved valley fed by meltwater from Harrison Glacier on the southeast face of Mount Jackson. A wilderness use permit is required for all overnight stays; per-person camping fees apply from May 1 through October 31, while winter camping (November 1 through April 30) requires only a free permit. No potable water is available on-site — treat water from the lake or creek before drinking. A vault toilet is provided. Advance reservations through Recreation.gov are recommended during the summer season.
Per person per night (May 1–Oct 31); free Nov 1–Apr 30
