A BLM campground with 42 sites located at mile 147.5 of the Richardson Highway near the Gulkana River. The facility includes 4 accessible sites and 2 walk-in sites. Amenities include restrooms, potable water, picnic tables, fire rings, bear-proof trash receptacles and food lockers, a paved boat launch, accessible fishing ramps, and an interpretive trail. The campground features a one-mile accessible trail connecting campsites to the boat launch on the Gulkana Wild and Scenic River. Popular with fishermen targeting king salmon from Memorial Day through mid-July. Open late May through September with first-come, first-served sites.
