A Bureau of Land Management campground located at Mile 175 of the Richardson Highway offering 50 campsites, including accessible sites and walk-in tent sites. The facility operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Amenities include potable water via hand pump, six double vault toilets (three accessible), fire rings, picnic tables, bear-proof trash receptacles, food lockers, and a sanitary dump station available for a fee to non-campers. The 605-acre alpine recreation site sits at 2,973-foot elevation in the Alaska Range above tree line. Popular for fishing with natural populations of Arctic Grayling, lake trout, and burbot. Ice may remain on the lake until July due to the elevation.
