This unmaintained dispersed camping area is located near mile marker 137.6 on the Glenn Highway, just east of the Little Nelchina River. The site features approximately 19 primitive campsites arranged on a loop road with stone-lined fire pits left by previous campers. While the access road is unmarked and has significant potholes requiring careful navigation for larger RVs, the location is popular with families and rafters preparing for descents down the Little Nelchina River. The area offers free camping with minimal facilities in a scenic wilderness setting ideal for fishing, hunting, hiking, and wildlife viewing.
