A small state recreation site along the Salcha River, 40 miles southeast of Fairbanks at Mile 323.3 of the Richardson Highway. The facility features 6 campsites with vault toilets, water access, and a boat launch. A public-use cabin is available for rental. The site accommodates RVs of any size with a 15-day maximum stay. Popular activities include fishing for grayling and salmon, as well as winter recreation such as cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The riverside location provides a peaceful camping experience surrounded by spruce forest.
