A 29-acre day-use facility along the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks. The park features 30 wheelchair-accessible picnic sites, picnic shelters available on a first-come, first-served basis, a boat launch, restrooms, and riverside walking trails. Open daily 7am-11pm with a $5 per vehicle day-use fee. This location should not be confused with the much larger Chena River State Recreation Area located about 30 miles northeast of Fairbanks along Chena Hot Springs Road.
