Luellen Lake (Jo19) is a highly popular backcountry campsite in Banff National Park's Sawback Range, located approximately 16.9 km from the Johnston Creek trailhead. The site sits directly on the shores of a vivid alpine lake and includes five tent pads, food storage lockers, a pit toilet, a fire pit, and a picnic bench. Its lakeside setting makes it one of Banff's most sought-after backcountry destinations, and advance reservations through Parks Canada are strongly recommended. A backcountry permit is required.
