Aylmer Canyon (LM 9) is a designated backcountry campsite along the Lake Minnewanka shoreline trail in Banff National Park, located approximately 9 km one way from the Lake Minnewanka day-use area trailhead. The site has five campsites with campfires permitted and offers views of Mount Inglismaldie. Between July 10 and September 15, seasonal bear management measures are in effect: groups of at least four people, bear spray mandatory, no dogs or bicycles on the trail. The campsite is well positioned as a base for day excursions to Aylmer Pass or Aylmer Lookout. A Parks Canada backcountry camping permit (per person per night) and a valid national park entry pass are required.
