Elk Lake Summit is a designated backcountry campsite in Banff National Park, accessible via an 11.5-kilometre trail from the Mount Norquay parking lot. The trail initially shares the Cascade Amphitheatre route before branching toward Elk Lake. The campsite has 5 tent pads, bear-resistant food storage lockers, and a covered pit toilet. Water is available from a nearby stream. An additional 4-kilometre return hike leads to Elk Lake itself. A Parks Canada Wilderness Pass is required for overnight use.
