Fish Lakes is a designated backcountry campground in Banff National Park, accessible via the Mosquito Creek trailhead off the Icefields Parkway (approximately 24 km north of the Lake Louise junction) or through the Skoki wilderness from the Lake Louise ski area. The campground has five sites near the far end of the first lake. Facilities include an outhouse, a bear hang for food storage, and a cooking area with picnic tables. Tent areas are more primitive than at many designated Banff backcountry sites, with loosely defined tent spots rather than formal pads. A Parks Canada backcountry permit and advance reservation are required for overnight stays.
