Ghost Lakes (LM31) is a remote designated backcountry campground in Banff National Park, situated approximately 29.5 km along the Lake Minnewanka trail from the main trailhead parking area. The campground offers five tent sites with bear lockers, picnic tables, drop toilets, and campfire rings. Due to its considerable distance from the trailhead, this site is best suited to experienced backcountry hikers comfortable with multi-day travel. Wildlife management travel restrictions apply from July 10 to September 15, requiring groups of four or more people and prohibiting dogs and bicycles on this trail section. A Parks Canada backcountry permit and advance reservation are required.
