Riverside Campground sits along the Missouri River below Canyon Ferry Dam, at the northern end of Canyon Ferry Reservoir, about 20 miles east of Helena. The Bureau of Reclamation operates 27 paved campsites, each with a fire ring and picnic table. Vault toilets and potable water are available during peak season (early May through mid-September). A boat ramp and accessible fishing dock provide direct river access, and the surrounding area attracts loons, cormorants, pelicans, bald eagles, and osprey. No electrical hookups are available, but the campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet. Maximum stay is 14 days. Reservations are accepted through Recreation.gov.
