Court Sheriff Campground sits on the northeast shore of Canyon Ferry Reservoir, roughly 15 miles east of Helena along Montana Highway 284. The Bureau of Reclamation facility offers 48 paved, level campsites — many positioned directly along the waterfront — making it a popular base for fishing and water recreation on Canyon Ferry Lake. The lake supports walleye, trout, and perch. Vault toilets, potable water, and trash and recycling containers are provided, with a campground host on-site during peak summer months. Sites can be reserved through Recreation.gov.
