Crittenden is a managed day-use area on the western shore of Canyon Ferry Reservoir, operated by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The site provides limited shoreline access to the reservoir with vault toilet facilities and a small paved parking area. Located off West Shore Drive north of Canyon Ferry Dam near Helena, it serves as a stopping point for boaters and day visitors exploring the western arm of the reservoir. No overnight camping is permitted.

USBR Canyon Ferry campground listings include Court Sheriff, Hellgate, Riverside, Jo Bonner, Chinamen's, White Earth, Fish Hawk, Confederate, and Duck Creek — Crittenden does not appear in any overnight camping inventory.
