Lewis and Clark Campground is the only developed hookup campground among the nine facilities at Clark Canyon Reservoir, a Bureau of Reclamation recreation area located about 20 miles south of Dillon along MT-324. Sites offer 50/30/20-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, along with picnic tables and fire rings. An on-site boat launch and RV dump station serve campers and day visitors. The reservoir is popular for fishing, boating, and swimming. The area holds historical significance as Camp Fortunate, where the Lewis and Clark Expedition negotiated horses from the Lemhi Shoshone people in 1805.
