A large state recreation area campground with 103 campsites located at Mile 277.8 Richardson Highway, 10 miles north of Delta Junction in Interior Alaska. The 556-acre facility offers two distinct camping options: 16 sites in the main loop and 87 parking and camping sites in the lot development. Features include water, vault toilets, accessible picnic shelters, a swimming area, beach volleyball court, and two boat launches with an accessible fishing dock. Quartz Lake is known for excellent road-accessible fishing with more than 34,000 fish harvested annually. The site includes five hiking trails with views of the Tanana River Valley and Alaska Range. No RV size limit with a 15-day maximum stay.
