A quieter alternative to the main Quartz Lake campground, offering 12 campsites within the 556-acre Quartz Lake State Recreation Area. Located at Mile 277.8 Richardson Highway, 10 miles north of Delta Junction. The facility features an accessible fishing dock, small boat launch, water access, and accessible toilets and picnic sites. The lake is stocked annually with 40 brood stock and 1,000 catchable rainbow trout by Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Daily fishing limit is 10 fish in any combination, with only one over 18 inches. Popular for those seeking a less crowded experience while enjoying fishing, hiking, and water activities. No RV size limit with a 15-day maximum stay.
