A secluded 46-acre wilderness campground with 12 sites located 32 miles south of Delta Junction at mile 238 of the Richardson Highway. The facility features a public use cabin, toilets, water, fire pits, and hiking trail. Situated on the braided Delta River with scenic views of some of the tallest peaks in the Alaska Range. Wildlife viewing opportunities include moose, bears, porcupines, beavers, snowshoe hares, and various bird species, with occasional caribou sightings. Popular activities include camping, fishing, hiking, birding, and blueberry picking. No RV size limit with a 15-day camping limit. Open year-round, though the park road is not plowed in winter. Reservations available up to 7 months in advance.
