About

A waterfront campground situated on the shores of Skilak Lake within Kenai National Wildlife Refuge near Cooper Landing. The facility offers 14 wooded campsites with fire rings providing direct lake access and scenic views. Amenities include vault toilets, water access via hand pump, and a boat launch for accessing the large glacial lake. Visitors can fish for rainbow trout and Dolly Varden, launch boats for exploring Skilak Lake, or enjoy campfires with expansive lake views. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. RV length is restricted to 35 feet maximum.
