A small, free primitive campground with just 3 tent sites along Lower Ohmer Lake in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. This quiet, out-of-the-way spot is accessed via a spur road from Skilak Loop Road leading to Upper Skilak Lake Campground. The campground features tables, fire pits, and vault toilets but no water service, so bring your own. A rough boat launch is available. The layout is designed for tent camping only, without adequate room for larger RVs or trailers to turn around, especially when other vehicles are present. Visitors must pack out all trash as there is no pickup service. Open May through September depending on road conditions. Pets must be on leash no longer than nine feet at all times throughout the refuge.
