Yalik Bay is a remote, primitive beach camping area in Kenai Fjords National Park, accessible only by kayak or water taxi. The bay features sheltered sand and gravel beaches suitable for beach camping. Located in the park's outer coast area in Nuka Bay, the site sits behind Yalik Point, the site of a historical Alutiiq village. The area is characterized by rugged topography with near-vertical cliffs and opens directly into the Gulf of Alaska. Few ice-free, flat areas with freshwater exist, making this a challenging but rewarding destination for experienced kayakers seeking remote wilderness camping.
