A remote paddle-in camping area in the West Arm of Nuka Bay, approximately 65 miles southwest of Seward and accessible only by kayak or boat. This northwest-trending arm extends 2.5 miles from Nuka Bay. The Nuka River flows south through a valley between Storm Mountain and Mount Diablo before reaching Beauty Bay. The area features ghost forests created by land subsidence and saltwater incursion following the 1964 earthquake. Access is challenging, requiring nearly a full day each way from Seward harbor. English Bay Corporation retained certain hunting, fishing, and gathering rights for 6,068 acres in the Beauty Bay area.

The Glass-Heifner mine is in a remote part of Kenai Fjords National Park which makes it challenging to access, and it is nearly a full day each way to transit there from the harbor in Seward near park headquarters.
Peak visitation during June, July, and August. The coastal backcountry becomes inaccessible from late fall through early spring due to rough ocean conditions.
