Backcountry camping area at the third of three alpine lakes along the Triple Lakes Trail in Denali National Park. This is part of Unit 1, the only backcountry unit in Denali with established primitive campsites. The area is located approximately 2.5 miles from the southern trailhead on the George Parks Highway. Campsites have no facilities such as outhouses or garbage cans. Campers must camp at least 100 feet from the lake and follow Leave No Trace principles. The unit has a quota of 12 people per night on a first-come, first-served basis through the Backcountry Information Center. The Triple Lakes Trail offers access to boreal forest terrain with opportunities to see moose, beavers, and arctic grayling fishing.
