Igloo Creek Campground is CLOSED in 2026 due to the Pretty Rocks Construction project on Denali Park Road. When operational, this primitive tent-only campground offers 7 sites at mile 35 of the park road, nestled between Cathedral and Igloo Mountains. The campground provides vault toilets and bear-proof food storage lockers, but no potable water or electricity. Fires are prohibited; camping stoves required. The location offers excellent day hiking opportunities and potential wildlife sightings including Dall sheep, grizzly bears, wolves, arctic ground squirrels, and snowshoe hares. Access is by park shuttle bus only.
