Jacks Bay is a primitive camping area within the Dale Bumpers White River National Wildlife Refuge, one of approximately 19 designated primitive campsites scattered throughout the 160,756-acre refuge. The site offers no facilities and is restricted to visitors engaged in wildlife-dependent activities such as hunting and fishing. Camping requires a refuge user permit, is free of charge, and operates first-come, first-served with no reservations. Maximum stay is 14 days within any 30-day period, and camps must be occupied daily. Quiet hours are enforced from 10pm to 4am. All trash must be packed out. Campsite boundaries are marked with white paint.
