Harris River Campground offers 14 drive-in campsites along the scenic Harris River within the Tongass National Forest, just 10 miles from the Hollis Ferry Terminal on Prince of Wales Island. This rustic campground features picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets, though potable water is not available. A boardwalk trail leads through a muskeg habitat, and nearby trails including the Harris River Trail and Twentymile Spur Trail provide excellent hiking opportunities. The campground is popular for salmon fishing, wildlife viewing, and serves as a gateway to exploring the temperate rainforest of Southeast Alaska.
