A lakeside campground at the end of Eklutna Lake Road in Chugach State Park, about 26 miles north of Anchorage. The facility has 50 campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, water, and vault toilets, plus an overflow area with 15 additional sites. RVs up to 30 feet are accommodated. Two picnic shelters and a public use cabin are available. The adjacent 12.7-mile Eklutna Lakeside Trail leads to backcountry camping areas and public use cabins. Activities include hiking, biking, fishing, boating, and ATV use on designated days. Winter use includes cross-country skiing, dog mushing, and snowmobiling. Sites are first-come, first-served with a 15-night limit.
