Taylor Lake is a designated backcountry campsite in Banff National Park, reached via the Taylor Lake Trail from a trailhead on the Trans-Canada Highway, approximately 8 km west of Castle Junction. The trail climbs 595 metres over 6.3 km to reach the subalpine lake. The campsite has five tent pads set back in the forest near the lake, along with a pit toilet, food storage, and picnic tables. A Parks Canada backcountry camping permit (per person per night) and a valid national park entry pass are required. The site offers views of surrounding peaks including Mount Ball and serves as a base for exploring nearby alpine terrain.
