Dr. Bernard Bruns Access is a 77.2-acre conservation area providing access to the Maries River in Osage County, Missouri. The site offers dispersed walk-in, float-in, and backpack camping 24 hours a day in designated areas. This is a popular destination for camping, swimming, canoeing, and floating the Maries River, as well as fishing, hunting, and bird watching. A boat ramp provides stream access. No developed facilities are available. Quiet hours are in effect from 10 PM to 6 AM. Visitors may camp up to 14 consecutive days within any 30-day period. Groups exceeding 10 people require a special use permit requested at least 30 days in advance.
