A primitive camping area within a 3,612-acre conservation area in east-central Benton and west-central Morgan counties. Located near the southern boundary on Big Buffalo Road, the campground offers 10 graveled camping pads and a large grassy area for tent camping. Free camping with no water, electricity, or restrooms available. The conservation area features six miles of multi-purpose trails, a 6-acre fishing pond, three springs, and 3.0 miles of Big Buffalo Creek. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days in any 30-day period, with a yearly limit of 30 days across all Missouri Department of Conservation areas. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am. Groups exceeding 10 people must obtain advance permission. From Cole Camp, take Route B south 13 miles, then Route WW east to end of blacktop, turn north on Big Buffalo Road and go 1.25 miles.
