A state recreation site within the Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area near Palmer. The facility is part of a 6-acre recreation area featuring multiple stocked lakes including Long Lake. Amenities include toilets and water access. The area has a 7-day camping limit. Long Lake is stocked with trout and grayling. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake as part of engine restrictions for Matanuska, Kepler, Canoe, Irene, and Long Lakes. Popular activities include camping, fishing, and hiking.
