Six walk-in tent sites located on the eastern shore of Byers Lake in Denali State Park, accessible via the Byers Lake Loop Trail or by canoe. These backcountry-style sites are tent-only with picnic tables and fire rings. The sites offer a more secluded camping experience than the main Byers Lake Campground, with direct lake access and scenic views of the Alaska Range. Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water or showers at the lakeshore sites. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites are reached by hiking approximately two miles from the main Byers Lake Campground trailhead. Gasoline motors are prohibited on the lake, making it ideal for quiet paddling and fishing.
