Lake Lucille Park is an 80-acre municipal campground and recreation area nestled in pure nature near Wasilla, Alaska. The park features a 57-site campground with pull-through spaces accommodating both tents and RVs. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. The facility offers three large pavilions, open fields, a playground, and a boat launch providing non-motorized lake access. A 300-foot by 60-foot fenced dog park operates year-round. Amenities include restrooms, drinking water from the Well House and Campground Host location, a boardwalk with fishing deck, and scenic trails throughout the park. The campground operates from late May through Labor Day Weekend on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations accepted. A 14-day maximum stay applies, with sites limited to 2 tents and/or 2 vehicles. Visitors are advised to bring insect repellent.
