A 60-acre Alaska State Parks recreation site located at Mile 152 of the Sterling Highway, five miles north of Anchor Point on the Kenai Peninsula. The facility sits on a high bluff overlooking Cook Inlet with spectacular views of three volcanoes: Mount Augustine, Mount Iliamna, and Mount Redoubt. The campground offers 13 sites suitable for campers or tents, with most sites being short and best fitted for vehicles up to 35 feet in length. Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, picnic sites with tables, a picnic shelter, and a dump station. The facility is ADA accessible. Camping is limited to 14 consecutive days per visit. There is no fishing available at this site, which is managed by Alaska Recreation Management. Contact them at 907-522-8368 or 907-242-0859 for information. Despite being a smaller, quieter campground away from the crowds, it offers outstanding scenic views across Cook Inlet on clear days.
