A municipal campground operated by the City of Soldotna, located along the Kenai River on 121.2 acres with direct river access. The facility offers over 250 campsites with 25 sets of stairs providing river access, two boat launches, and an 8-station fish cleaning platform with lights and running water. Amenities include 11 restrooms, extensive boardwalks and pathways totaling over 6,000 feet, and a pavilion. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Peak season occurs in July during prime fishing season. The RV dump station is currently out of service indefinitely.
