A small state campground at the confluence of the Funny and Kenai Rivers, located 11 miles from Soldotna at Mile 12 of Funny River Road. This minimally improved 336-acre facility provides 10 campsites with a 40-foot RV length limit and 7-day maximum stay. The campground offers accessible facilities including toilets, water access, picnic tables, and picnic shelters. Popular fishing opportunities include sockeye and silver salmon from July through September. Access is via Funny River Road from the Sterling Highway, traveling 12 miles to Piper Place.
