The West Side Tent Camping Area is a walk-in tent-only campsite located on the west side of Homer Spit, directly across from Fishing Hole Campground. This beachside camping spot offers stunning sunset views over Kachemak Bay and opportunities to observe sea otters and other wildlife. Campers enjoy easy walking access to the many attractions along the Spit. Free parking is available nearby at the harbor, and facilities including potable water, restrooms, and an RV dump station are accessible at the adjacent Fishing Hole Campground. Payment is made at auto-pay kiosks accepting cash or credit cards.
