A primitive tent-only Forest Service campground at Mile 7.7 of Palmer Creek Road near Hope in the Chugach National Forest. The six wooded sites feature fire rings, picnic tables, and bear boxes along Coeur D Alene Creek. Two pit toilets are available but there is no potable water - visitors must bring their own and pack out all garbage. The 5-mile Coeur D Alene Trail provides access to nearby lakes for fishing. Note: The campground may have seasonal closures for construction.
